Henry Coe State Park

A three day solo trip, hiking through Northern California’s largest state park. The rugged terrain continually alternates between grassy slopes, oak woodland, and chaparral, offering an impressive range of biodiversity and habitats to appreciate. Since the climate here is still influenced by coastal weather systems, plant observations are especially interesting and notable for landscape design applications in the Bay Area.
